Porto are currently sitting in third place in the Liga Portugal standings, but are not out of the running for the title just yet. They are sitting seven points behind Sporting and Benfica, who both have 52 points under their belt. Porto have not scored as many goals as the other teams in the top five, but their strength this season has been in defence. They have only conceded 13 goals in the 20 matches that they have played. Porto finished second in their UCL group, but in all fairness, it was one of the easiest of the eight groups.

This will be a close match between two evenly-matched teams, and Arsenal will be content if they can manage to leave Portugal with a point under their belt. This is exactly what I think will happen in this match. I am going to go for a 1-1 draw.

They are slightly favouring at least three goals in this match, but I can see why they are sitting on the fence. 1️⃣Porto Update

Porto are sitting in third place in the table in the Portuguese first division, and they will not have counted themselves out of the running when it comes to lifting the title at the end of the season. They are seven points adrift of the top and know that a couple of wins, coupled with some favourable results, will put them straight back into contention. They will be relatively content with their draw as they avoided the likes of Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, and Manchester City.

Last season, they narrowly lost to Inter in the Round of 16, and the Italian-based team went on to make it to the final. They will definitely not be any pushovers for Arsenal.

Arsenal have been in some pretty fine form as of late, beating Liverpool 3-1 and then putting six goals past West Ham United. As a result, they are currently fighting it out for the title with Liverpool and Manchester City. I do not think that they will go on to win the EPL, but at least they are up there fighting for some silverware. Whatever the outcome, it is sure to be an exciting battle that goes to the wire.

If you were to give Arsenal fans the option of winning the league or the UCL, I am sure that they would opt for the latter as they have never won this competition. In the previous seven UCL competitions that Arsenal have played in, they have been knocked out in the Round of 16.
