I always enjoy trying to predict the winner of this event, so read on to find out who my Eurovision winner 2024 is.
💯 Eurovision 2024 Semi-Final 1 Odds
Many of the best bookmakers that British sports bettors can sign up with will give their punters outright winner odds for each of the semi-finals. Therefore, in the following table, you will find five of my top bookmakers and the odds that they have available at present for each country to win Semi-Final 1 and book themselves a spot in Saturday's final.

N.B. I have provided you with the odds for the top ten contenders for each semi-final as these are the ones that are most likely to stand a chance of qualifying. If you want to see the full odds for each semi-final, you can do so by visiting the site of your chosen bookie.
So, as is clear from the table above, Croatia are the clear favourites to win the first semi-final on Tuesday evening. Ukraine sit as the second favourites, while the other contestants come with much longer odds. While we cannot be 100% certain as to who will win Semi-Final 1, we can be pretty sure that both these nations will be singing on Saturday evening.
💯 Eurovision 2024 Semi-Final 2 Odds
Since the best bookmakers have odds for the winner of Semi-Final 1, it stands to reason that they will also offer odds for Semi-Final 2, which takes place a couple of days after the first one. Just as I did for Semi-Final 1, below you will find the odds that my five selected bookmakers are offering for the outright winner. Like I did previously, I have decided to focus on just the top ten.

Estonia | 76.00 | 76.00 | 81.00 | 51.00 | 80.00 |
As can be seen from the odds table above, the Netherlands are the huge favourites to go on and win the second semi-final, booking themselves a spot in the final in the process. Switzerland and Israel are the next two favourites, but the bookies think that it is unlikely that either will win. However, I think we can be quite sure that, regardless of the results on Thursday, all three of these nations will be singing on Saturday.
💯 Eurovision 2024 Final Odds
26 countries in total will be participating in the Eurovision 2024 Grand Final. These are ten countries which qualify from Semi-Final 1 and Semi-Final 2, the Big Five (Italy, United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, and France), and Sweden since they are the hosts after having won the competition in 2023.
Since the semi-finals are yet to take part, we do not know the full list of participants, but this does not mean that you cannot bet on the overall winner of the 2024 ESC. Below you will be able to find the early odds that my top bookmakers are offering for the overall winner. Just like I did above, I have focused on the ten participants who have a higher chance of coming out on top.

United Kingdom | 76.00 | 76.00 | 51.00 | 76.00 | 80.00 |
As can be seen from the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest outright odds above, Croatia are the current favourite with the bookies to go on and win this year's competition. If they manage to do so, then it would actually be the first time that this small Balkan country has won this prestigious music event.
🎵 Eurovision 2024 Favourite Songs
There have been some great songs that popped up at Eurovision over the years, with some of the best ones off the top of my heading being Waterloo by Abba, Euphoria by Loreen, Fairytale by Alexander Rybak, Space Man by Sam Ryder, and Hard Rock Hallelujah by Lordie.
This year's event is not devoid of a range of top-quality songs, and below I am going to take a closer look at the five songs that I feel have a really good chance of writing their own piece of Eurovision history. If you are yet to hear any of these five songs, then I seriously suggest you pay a little visit to YouTube and have a listen.
1️⃣ Croatia - Rim Tim Tagi Dim by Baby Lasagna
Marko Purišić, an author, composer, and performer is the man behind the Baby Lasagna project. For this song, he skilfully blends humourous and laid-back lyrics to sing about young men who leave their country behind in search of bigger and better things. If you notice a Rammstein influence when listening to this song, your ears are not deceiving you as he has previously said that this band is a big influence of his.
The Croatian has long wanted to perform in the ESC as he took part in his country's national selection in 2019, but ended up in 4th place. He already has a bit of a name for himself as he has created popular singles such as "IG Boy" and "Don't Hate Yourself, But Don't Love Yourself Too Much". He is the favourite to win, but even if he does not you will still find yourself bobbing your head and tapping your feet to his music.
2️⃣ Switzerland - The Code by Nemo
Nemo is a name that we have heard a lot about in the lead up to this year's competition, and we will carry on hearing his name long after the 2024 ESC has finished. This is a unique song that manages to mix genres and styles such as bass rap, opera, and drum. When you sit down and listen to the catchy tune, you will be able to hear orchestral constructions and melodies that should remind you of songs from some of the best bands, namely The Beatles and Queen.
The song tells the story of him becoming more aware of his non-binary self. Nemo has already released four EPs and shows us just how talented he is in this fun song. If he manages to go on and lift the trophy, it will be the first time that Switzerland have won the ESC since 1988.
3️⃣ The Netherlands - Europapa by Joost Klein
Joost Klein is another talented artist who will raise more than a few eyebrows at the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest. In his attempt to bring back the trophy for The Netherlands, Klein has opted to mix mainstream pop and rap. He will not be a new face to Dutch fans as he is a household name in the Netherlands now thanks to his career as a YouTuber and the fact that he has released a total of eight albums. Of these albums, two of them actually made it into the Top 10 of his country's top 100 albums chart.
4️⃣ Italy - La Noia by Angelina Mango
Italy will certainly be competing in the final on May 11th as they are one of the "Big 5" nations, and bookies feel that there is a pretty good chance that they will go on and win once again. Angelina Mango will have the hopes of a nation on her young shoulders as she won the right to compete by winning the Festival de Sanremo - this is the competition that Italy uses in order to find their singer for the next Eurovision.
Mango is a composer, author, and performer so she clearly has more than just the solitary string to her proverbial bow. She has a history of doing well in singing contests as last year she was the runner-up in another Italian talent contest which goes by the name of Amici di Maria De Filippi.
5️⃣ Ukraine - Teresa and Maria by Alyona Alyona and Jerry Heil
Ukraine lifted this title in 2022, but we all know that it was Sam Ryder who should have gone on to lift the title - his song Space Man was one of the best Eurovision songs in recent years. According to the bookies, Ukraine have a good chance of winning, and I can see why - their song is a really beautiful collaboration between two of the country's most gifted musical talents.
Alyona Alyona is a really popular rap artist, while Jerry Heil has managed to rack up millions of views on his songs on YouTube. They wrote this song to remind us all that we all can reach great heights, no matter what obstacles are thrown in our way.
🏆 Eurovision 2024 Winner Prediction
It is now time for my Eurovision predictions for both the semi-finals and the final.
When it comes to the first semi-final, I believe that the bookies will be right and that Croatia will come out on top. This contest is all about fun and quirky songs, and Croatia's entry definitely fits that bill. Even if it does not go on to win, it will definitely make it through to the final.
Regarding the second semi-final, I am not going to go with the bookies as I am going to back the Swiss to come out on top and not the Netherlands. It will be a tight contest between these two nations, but I just think that Switzerland's song has a little more to it than the Dutch one. I can see the judges and public loving the Swiss entry.
Who is the favourite to win Eurovision? Well, Croatia are the early favourites, and I know that a lot of novice punters will just lump some cash on them and hope for the best. While it is a catchy song that will get everyone out of their seats and moving to the groove, I am not going to back the Eurovision favourites. I am going to go for Switzerland to be the overall winner because I love the originality of their song and it is no less catch than Croatia's. It is a fantastic song and Nemo's stunning vocals could give them the edge.
My 2024 Eurovision Prediction: Switzerland to win.
