The 7th game of the Cricket World Cup in India will see England play Bangladesh at Dharamsala's Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium. Those who want to watch every ball of this match will need to wake up pretty early as it is scheduled to start at 06:00 GMT. In this prediction, I am going to provide you with some of the top ante post odds that the best cricket betting sites currently have available, while also giving you my betting tips for this big game.
💯 England v Bangladesh Betting Odds
Due to the popularity of cricket in the United Kingdom, it should not come as much of a surprise to find out that there are plenty of different markets that cricket betting fans can choose from at experienced and new UK betting sites.
In the table below, you can find the competitive betting odds that some top bookmakers currently have available for three of my favourite cricket betting markets.
Match Winner Odds: England v Bangladesh

Top Batsman Odds: England v Bangladesh
Do you want to try and predict the batsmen that will score the most runs for their team? If yes, then you need to check out the top batsman odds in the tables below. I have selected three players from each team that I feel are in with a good shout of top scoring:
England:
Player | ||
---|---|---|
Jonny Bairstow | 4.33 | 3.25 |
Joe Root | 4.00 | 3.20 |
Jos Buttler | 6.00 | 4.00 |
Bangladesh:

Top Wicket Taker Odds: England v Bangladesh
If you know more about a team's bowling attack, then maybe you want to try and take advantage of some top wicket taker odds. With such a market, you are predicting the bowler that will collect the most wickets for their side. If the number of wickets is tied, then the bowler's economy will decide the winner.
Below I have provided you with odds for three players that I feel have a great shot at being their team's best bowler:
England:
Player | ||
---|---|---|
Adil Rashid | 4.33 | 3.00 |
Sam Curran | 5.00 | 3.25 |
Reece Topley | 5.00 | 3.60 |
Bangladesh:

🔍 England v Bangladesh Match Winner Prediction
After their heavy defeat at the hands of New Zealand, England will enter their second match of the World Cup with many questions hanging over their heads. They were one of the favourites for this competition before a ball was bowled, and they will be eager to show us all why that was the case.
As can be seen from the match winner odds table above, England are the favourites to win on Tuesday, but they will definitely not have it all of their own way as this is a quality Bangladesh outfit. Furthermore, they will have plenty of confidence since they comfortably won their first match against a decent Afghanistan team.
England will not hit those panic buttons just yet, but they must win this match, while also improving their Net Run Rate which took a bit of a hammering last Thursday. I do not think that they will be as bad as they were against the Black Caps, so my money is on them to win.
My England v Bangladesh winner prediction: England to win!
✔️ England v Bangladesh CWC Betting Tips
Now it is time for some betting tips for the Eng vs Bang game:
Match Winner: England to Win
After England's poor performance against New Zealand last week, the Bangladesh team will be quietly confident of being able to pick up a rare win against England. These two countries have played each other a total of 24 times, and Bangladesh have only won on five occasions.
The Bangladesh bowling unit put in a really good performance in their first game against Afghanistan, knocking them over for 156 with just under 13 overs left. The England batsmen will need to perform to the best of their ability since the Bangladeshi bowlers are well-equipped for bowling in subcontinent conditions. While I respect the quality in the Bangladesh ranks and would not call it a huge shock if they went on to win, my Eng vs Ban prediction is for England to come out on top due to their batting strength.
If you want to put money on England to win, then William Hill are currently offering odds of 1.20 for England to win.
England's Top Batsman Winner: Joe Root to Win
England broke a unique record in their loss to New Zealand - for the first time in international ODIs, all 11 batsmen made it into double figures. However, Joe Root was the only one who made it past 50 - it looked like he was batting on a different pitch at times. Him top scoring was not much of a surprise as he is one of the world's best cricketers and is a fantastic player of spin.
If you would like to put your money on Root to top score for England once again, then William Hill are offering odds of 4.00.
Bangladesh' Top Batsman Winner: Shakib Al Hasan to Win
Bangladesh have had some top batsmen down the years and as they are without Tamim Iqbal for this World Cup, there is a lot of pressure on Shakib Al Hasan to get the bulk of the runs for his country. While some players would crumble under such pressure, Al Hasan will thrive on it as he is one of the best all-rounders out there. England will want to see the back of him quickly, but I think he will bat well and top score for Bangladesh.
If you agree with this prediction, then William Hill have odds of 4.50.
England's Top Wicket Taker: Reece Topley to Win Top Wicket Taker
Anyone of an England persuasion will want to forget about the bowling performance in their first match. After such an insipid bowling display, I expect there to be at least one change to the bowling unit - I think Reece Topley will make his World Cup debut, maybe at the expense of Chris Woakes who struggled with his line and length. He has been really good for England over the last couple of years, boasting an average of 26.81, so has every chance of being England's top bowler if he plays.
If you would like to bet on Topley being England's best bowler, then William Hill have odds of 5.00.
Bangladesh' Top Wicket Taker: Shakib Al Hasan to Win Top Wicket Taker
I put Al Hasan down as the top scorer for Bangladesh in this match, and I also think that he will pick up the most wickets for his team. He bowled really well against Afghanistan in the first game, picking up three wickets, and I am certain that he will cause a number of problems for England. Thanks to his reputation, England will try to bat out his overs without taking too many risks, and this might lead to some silly errors.
If you would like to put money on Al Hasan to be Bangladesh's top wicket taker, then kwiff-sports currently have odds of 4.00.
