About Jack Guing
Jack is a seasoned copywriter with a strong background in performance analysis, having worked extensively as a performance analyst within GAA for several teams over the years. His experience isn’t limited to GAA, as he has also applied performance analysis to soccer, particularly during his Master's thesis in Sports Performance.
A passionate sports enthusiast, Jack combines his love for data-driven analysis with his writing. He believes that the analytical approach used in performance evaluation can bring a fresh perspective to sports writing, offering readers a more engaging and insightful experience.

In his previous roles, Jack was responsible for both in-game and post-game statistical reporting using tools like Hudl and Dartfish, as well as utilising Statistical Software for Excel to analyse individual player performance. Additionally, he prepared video analysis presentations to provide insights on opposing teams prior to games.

Jack’s educational background, notably his English degree, honed his content writing skills through the heavy writing demands of the program. His master's coursework further deepened his understanding of what drives sports performance, covering areas like performance analysis, nutrition, and strength and conditioning.
Personal Interests
Sports are Jack's primary passion. He enjoys following various sports, with a particular focus on GAA, soccer, and golf. He regularly attends GAA and soccer matches, cheering for his county, Offaly, in GAA and supporting Liverpool in soccer. He also enjoys playing golf, though he modestly admits his golfing skills leave room for improvement.
